From exploring the Lakeland fells to chilling by the lake, we've got all the insider tips to make your visits to this beautiful part of the UK unforgettable. So, who are we? Let's get to know each other...
Sam
Sales and Park Manager
Sam enjoys the expansive sands of Roanhead with her dog Lilly and family with far reaching views of the Lake District Fells across the estuary. She also cherishes moments of reflection at another of Cumbria’s hidden gem, the Buddhist temple in Ulverston, finding a perfect balance between quiet beaches and spiritual retreats.
Wendy
Owner Services Manager
Wendy has a particular love for the stunning vistas from Orrest Head. Her love of hiking (under 5km by order) and nature in the Lakes she finds peace and inspiration in the beauty of the Lake District.
Richie
Maintenance Manager
Richie is a true fell walker at heart. There’s no specific spot he prefers because he loves exploring the entire range of the Lake District fells. Whether it’s a challenging hike or a leisurely stroll, Richie finds joy in every step he takes amidst the rolling hills and rugged terrain.
Dan
Sales Advisor
Dan finds solace in the serene landscapes of Scout Scar in Kendal albeit closely linked with a trip to ‘The Wheatsheaf’! Dan’s deep appreciation for the natural world is evident in his commitment to preserving these beautiful landscapes and supporting local establishments!
Katie
Holiday Sales Administrator
Katie, the youngest member of the team, has a special fondness for Coniston village, its charming atmosphere and beautiful surroundings and in particular the café’s and niche shops.
Lilly
Head of Canine Fun
I love my job. It's the best! My human calls it ‘working’, but to me, it feels more like a lovely treat. I often visit this wooftastic park. There’s a lakeshore, woods, and lots of other furry friends. My job is to make sure everyone has fun. I like to greet new people with a waggy tail and a happy bark. Sometimes, I even get to play fetch with the kids. I'm a lucky pup, I know.
